I started Next 12 while helping run Moto Transportation. The company was growing faster than our systems could keep up, so we built what we needed: a better planning process, software to keep the work organized, and automations to take repetitive tasks off our plates.

We built it all inside Moto first. We still use it every week and keep changing it as the business changes. Then friends and family started coming to us with problems we had already solved. We helped them build better ways of working too, and somewhere along the way, Next 12 became a business of its own.

I’ve been obsessed with technology since I was a kid. I also have OCD, which means I can spot one detail out of place from across the room and cannot leave a process alone if it makes no sense. Excellent for business. An ongoing situation for everyone who knows me. Outside work, I’m usually doing something involving high horsepower or negotiating with a german shepherd.
